Your client asks about water birth. Do you have the answers?

Clients who want water in labor bring questions, and many of them come to you before they reach the care team:

  • Is laboring in water the same as giving birth in water?
  • How warm should the water be?
  • Am I a good candidate?
  • What if the place of birth has no tub?

This class gives you clear, practical answers built for doulas, without the clinical detail written for midwives and physicians.

It also covers what a water birth policy includes and how to help your client ask about it, plus how to use a shower when the place of birth has no tub.

This was SO timely. I started it in the morning. My first waterbirth client went into labor that afternoon!!!

In their words

I liked the crash course style. It was well rounded but not over informative to the point that I thought that it was busy work to fill time.
Doula
The way you break it into multiple videos is great for grasping content.

I enjoy listening to Robin talk. She is easy to listen to.

When the place of birth says no to the tub

Not every hospital or birth center offers water birth, and some have no tub at all. The class covers what a water birth policy includes and how to help your client talk with their care team about it.

It also covers laboring in a shower, so your client can still use water when a tub is not an option.
