AI for doulas starts with the ethics

Most doulas didn't sign up to spend hours on social media posts, captions, and graphics. AI can help with that. You probably have questions first:

  • Is it safe to use with client information?
  • Will it still sound like me?
  • Whose data was it trained on?
  • Which tools are worth my time?

You are in charge of the AI, and you get to decide if what you’re doing fits your core values. This class shows you how.

I learned that AI is not something I should continue being afraid of.

Questions

What does ethical AI for doulas mean?

It means using AI in your doula business in a way that protects your clients and fits your values: keeping client data out, knowing where a tool's information comes from, watching for bias, and reviewing everything before you use it.

Can I put client information into AI?

Don't put client data into generative AI tools. The class covers why, and how to check a tool's privacy policy and user agreement.

Will it still sound like me?

It can. You build your prompts around your own voice, then read and edit what comes back. AI doesn't replace you, so you stay in charge of what goes out.

Do I have to pay for AI tools?

No. Start with the free versions. The class covers free and paid options, so another business expense isn't required.

I'm intimidated by this. Do I need tech skills?

No. Start with something simple, like scheduling, get your sea legs, and build from there.

Is any of this live?

The class is a recording you watch on your own schedule. Your class also includes 1 live Q&A session with me on Zoom, to use within 12 months, so you can bring questions about your own business.

Does this include CE hours?

Yes. Finish the class and the short evaluation, and you'll get a certificate for 1 CE contact hour you can apply toward certification or recertification. The class is approved through DONA International, course number CEP002-015-W.

How long do I have access?

As long as the course is available. Come back to it when you're ready to try the next tool.

Can I get a refund?

No. Registration is nonrefundable because this is a digital course.
